We clean our homes to maintain a healthy environment for our families to thrive in.
However, many of the conventional household cleaning products contain chemicals that, over time, have the potential of negatively impacting our health. And, there are no requirements for producers of these products to list these chemicals and their long term health effects on product labels.
When we clean our homes, laundry and dishes with conventional cleaners, we are exposed to toxic chemicals through breathing, skin absorption (especially through the bottoms of our feet on our floors & our bodies wrapped in clothing & linens) and ingestion of household dust and residues left on surfaces (especially dishes & cutlery).
The David Suzuki Foundation has a great post that summarizes the impact of toxic chemicals in household cleaning products. And, Environmental Defense did an experiment on how chemicals in cleaning products affect indoor air quality and human health. Their full report and the summary video, both contain great information.

For years I have striven to clean our home with the most natural products
I could find – store bought and homemade.
Some worked, many didn’t and nothing was great at tackling the tougher to clean areas – showers, tubs, toilets.
Juggling all I have to do week to week, it was also tough to keep up with the bigger jobs like our floors. It just took too long – dragging a vacuum through the house, followed by a big bucket of water & vinegar & the mop – good luck getting all of that done in one shot with a kiddo running around!
I’d never heard of this wonderful company until May 2016 when, full of skepticism, I attended a party hosted by a friend of mine. My scientific brain was wondering – how the heck can I clean my home top to bottom with just a cloth and water?
Seeing the products & what they could do, I was hooked. I purchased a few items & booked a party.
Two days after the party I hosted, I signed on as a sales consultant & I haven’t looked back.
The Norwex Mission to improve quality of life by radically reducing chemicals on our homes, fits beautifully with my intention to provide you with a natural, whole person approach to health as you prepare for pregnancy and journey through motherhood.
Reducing the chemicals in your home will support your whole family’s health.
I am continually impressed by the products & what they’ve tackled in our home and the homes I’ve visited to do product demonstrations.
The backbone of Norwex is the unique microfiber,
produced to a thickness of 1/200th that of a human hair.
Stretched end to end, the amount of microfiber in a single EnviroCloth would extend from Winnepeg to the Gulf of Mexico. This creates a very absorbent cloth that, with the proper use and care, can wipe away up to 99% of bacteria from a surface and is backed by a two-year warranty.
Cleaning with Norwex microfiber and water is an effective and efficient way to clean your home, while keeping your indoor environment safe for your family and reducing the amount of toxins released into the environment.
If you are interested in hosting an in-home demonstration with family and friends, to learn more about the products and earn some free through Norwex’s generous Host Rewards Program, contact me at clinic[at]vitalitynaturalhealth.ca with the subject line ‘Norwex Demonstration’.
